要旨本文 | Improving photosynthetic traits is thought to enhance plant yields. This study aims to evaluate an increase in photosynthetic traits by applying fertilizer, which could have a positive effect on the removal of carbon resource limitations on the seed production of L. gmelinii var. japonica to face increased demand for the hybrid larch F1 (L. gmelinii var. japonica × L. kaempferi). Sixteen saplings of the L. gmelinii var. japonica were assigned to four treatments, fertilized with (1) oxidized glutathione (1000x Kaneka Peptide W2), (2) 5-aminolevulinic acid (1000x ALA-FeSTA), (3) NPK (1600x HYPONeX) and (4) water as a control. No differences were found in photosynthetic rate, tree height, or annual ring width, suggesting no positive effects on photosynthesis between control and each fertilization treatment. Since the fertilizers used in this experiment are known to alleviate oxidative stress, it’s important to evaluate the effects under stress conditions. |
